In case you don't know, the owner of a website can see what searches bring people to their site. So, for example, if someone types in, "Braden Bell author" then google will take them to my site and my site will record that it was that search that brought them there. (Fear not, though, it just says that someone came, it doesn't specify who it was).
One person found my website by googling the phrase, "How ugly braden is." (Answer: my nose is pretty big and sort of beakish--but other than that, I'm not too bad. I'm actually reasonably distinguished looking in a chubby Sam-the-Eagle way. And he's a muppet. So that makes him cute, I guess.).
The other day, however, someone was googling me to see if I had a criminal record. That's a bit creepy.
Happily, I don't--at least this Braden Bell. There might be another one who does. But it's still a bit creepy. Oh well. Life in the digital age, I guess.
